Peter wins the Galenus Technology Prize 2017. Since 2005 (every two years), the Galenus-Privatstiftung (Vienna) grants the Galenus Technology Prize for innovative work in the field of pharmaceutical technology. Eligible are assistant professors, junior professors and independent researchers (HabilitandInnen) in equivalent positions.

This year’s prize was shared between two researchers. The second winner is Dr. Gregor Fuhrmann from the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research (Saarbrücken, Germany) www.fuhrmann-lab.de
Each winner receives a prize money of 5000 Euro. The official prize giving ceremony will be held on November 8th, 2017 at the Natural History Museum in Vienna.
