Joanna obtained a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Product Engineering and Pharmacology from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. She is designing protein-based biopolymers and functional hydrogels for 3D printing applications. Her new hydrogel materials offer a high level of structural and functional control after printing and can be used to mimic the native biochemical environment of tissue (Bachelor in Chemical Product Engineering/Pharmacology)
