For Peter, research and teaching goes hand in hand as an academic. Hence he was happy to help as peer facilitator at the UNSW Course Design Institute. The program, led Alex Bannigan, is an exciting opportunity to optimise, align and further develop courses. When Peter came fresh to UNSW he attended as participant, helping now as facilitator further helped him to look behind the scenes and continue to work on some of his own courses.
This year the course was run for the first time UNSW-wide (previously only in Engineering) It was a pleasure to work with the CDI team and he can highly recommend the course to everyone new and experienced to teaching.
