    New visiting Phd student joins the group. Mario is joining us for four months to synthesize new core shell based carrier systems and evaluate their in vitro efficiency. Mario is working on his PhD in the group of Jørn B. Christensenat the Department of Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark). He studied chemistry and graduated 2012 from the Universität Leipzig.

  • December 2014 – Christmas is in the air

    December had again the smell of christmas in the air. Santa brought a cute litte christmas tree to the lab. But also out lab team wasn’t shy of going with the christmas vibe (as you can see in the pictures).   • Lydia joins our team – Welcome!

    New Phd student joins the group. Lydia has a strong background in pharmaceutical technology and biomedicinal chemistry. Combining these skills, she is now working on new biopolymer-based nanoparticles. Lydia studied Biomedicinal Chemistry in Mainz, worked on her diploma project in Hamburg and graduated in October 2014.

    I can’t get enough of this! Look at this 3D visualization of a synapse, recently published by german scientists in Science (B.G. Wilhelm et al. Science 2014, 344, 1023-1028. DOI: 10.1126/science.125288)
