Peter attended the RSC Applied Symposium: Interfaces and Polymers for a Sustainable Future at Burlington House in London, bringing together the editorial communities of RSC Applied Interfaces and RSC Applied Polymers for their first joint one-day symposium.

The event featured invited and contributed talks, poster presentations, and discussions spanning interfaces, polymers, materials science and sustainability. Peter joined Matthew Gibson in the opening session and presented recent Wichlab research on biopolymer nanomaterials for drug delivery and biocatalysis.

It was also a great opportunity to catch up with fellow Editors and colleagues from across the RSC community and exchange ideas around emerging research in applied polymer and interface science.

Many thanks to Hannah Kerr, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and everyone involved in organising such an engaging event.
